scheduled jobs from Studio 20.2 on Evolve-Server 20.2. If I check under processes, the shown starttime is wrong - one hour earlier - . Timezone and time on Server itself is ok, also my Evolve settings are correct, my PC also has the correct German time.
Time setting issue in Personal Information on Evolve
The Customer was setting TimeZone as (UTC+1) under Personal Information on Evolve and changing it to (UTC+2) solved the issue.
Evolve application stores data in UTC format and Evolve provides user flexibility to see time as per their Personal settings under Personal Information page. It's not a workaround but a setting that needs to be done as per User personal preference to view time on Evolve and the Evolve will show the data according to the Time Zone in Personal Information and that's the reason Time in Evolve was showing 1 hour late. Setting the current Time Zone as (UTC+2) on Evolve solved the issue.
What’s about the switch from summer- to wintertime?
The customer can remove Time Zone from Personal Information and then Evolve will use Time Zone of the Browser machine as shown in below screenshot.
Steps to remove Time Zone from Personal Information
1. Go to Personal Information on Evolve.
2. Edit Info -> click on (UTC+)time.
3. Ctrl+A, then Delete
4. Click on Save.
