I have a question regarding the workflow element activity.
When an activity is assigned to multiple persons (as per the swimlane) and one of these persons completes the task, the workflow still waits on all other persons to complete the exact same task.

Is this as per expected behaviour or should the activity actually continue when 1 of the group uses the 'Continue' button to complete the task?

Question is where an activity is assigned to multiple people as per the swimlane. Expected behaviour would have been it continues after one of the group completes the task.

We searched for a setting which would do this, but have not found it.

Solution/Immediate Workaround

Activity is working as expected ; Activity is designed in such a way that it will wait for every approver to approve before it moves to next stage .

Where as with Approval node is designed depending on what decision is selected that is Single Decision etc ; it has possibility to Move ahead to next stage once one approver has approved .

So if you would like to move ahead in workflow when one user out 10 users approves the Task ; it is recommended to use Approval node collectively using correct Approval Type.
