Description

For the same SAP system:

In SAP, the connection is successful with ex:  '102.54.94.97' (IP address)

In Evolve, the test connection is successful with ex: 'rhino.acme.com'

But the Studio/SAP connection fails pointing to the hostname 'rhino.acme.com' working in Evolve but not mentioned in SAP Logon

Solution

Obtain the:

- SAP system property

- Evolve SAP server details

Then

Adjust the IP address and port in the host file

The default path to the host file is C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
