Description

I have an issue "The submission of a password encrypted data file is not supported with Evolve" during submitting scripts to Evolve. The same behaviour is for new created scripts and templates. When I reinstall Studio it help for half hour. The extension of template is xlsx and Office 365.

Solution/Immediate Workaround

As a first step of debugging cross verify with user that there is no Password applied to the script or data file.

If not then perform the below steps or as a Workaround run Studio as Admin .

1) Get the application trace and check if there is error or any error relating to Previliges - The requested operation requires elevation. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800702E4).

2) If so then

a) Open Regedit as Admin 
b) Check that whether the below Registry key is  flagged to "RunAsAdministrator"; If so please remove the flag and then run the scenario. See screenshot below.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers resp.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

c) To Remove the flag perform below steps.

1) Right click on Layers- Export - Save backup of the file.
2) Now Delete the Excel .exe entry
3) Restart the machine 
4) Test the scenario without running studio as admin.
