We want to delete a user ID in our Evolve application but the system rejects to do with the message "You cannot delete Users with current or future assignments or users running background jobs". The user doesn't have any running jobs or open workflow assignments.
Please provide the following information to the customer about future assignments.
Whenever a process is initiated, users in each applicable swim lanes get resolved accordingly.
In the Customer's case, the user was in the "FI approver" swim lane ( screenshot attached ) for some process that was not yet complete. Deleting that particular user was not allowed because he was eligible for a task to be assigned to him in the future.
There should be no future assignments in order to delete a user from Evolve.
That's why reassignment was required to delete that user.
Any task belonging to that user needs to be reassigned to a different user .When you click on Reassignment carry on to the next page until it shows pending assignment by user who you would like to delete and then reassigned to new user.
