When connecting via Studio to connect we get error Requested value "CLINT_IP_EMPTY" was not found

Description

I have installed Winshuttle client software studio 12.1 for runner and developer. I’m facing the error “Requested value “CLIENT_IP_EMPTY” when trying to connect.

Studio 11.x and 12.x

 

Cause

Configuration.

 

 

 

Solution/Immediate Workaround

The main issue was that we were unable to ping the machines own hostname

which only was using digits for example 56789.

It was discovered that when using Letters as well as numbers in the hostname the issue was resolved.

The hostname should be something like DB12345 for example and should not only have numbers.
