Is it possible to use query script in Excel Workflow?
If yes, could you please let me know how?
I have query script with data file which contain materials and plants. I need autorun for Query script when users add the data file in SharePoint library.

Solution/Immediate Workaround

Currently Query is not supported with Excel Workflow.

Only way to achieve is by having Query Script in same template..there can be query script as No Data Review - workflow and Transaction script as excel workflow.

For a workaround below steps need to be followed.

• Submit to the Query Templates
• Approve the template
• Download the template
• Submit to Transaction templates
• Download the Template 
• For transaction Update plugin will run and for query you will to do Manual run.

In evolve this feature is supported that is Query scripts can be used in Excel Workflow ; However we need to make sure the first script to run is Transaction Script and not query.
