Studio query connection to SQL Database not working.

Applies To

All versions of Studio .

Cause

The studio is not able to connect to SQL DB because of the following reason:-

1. The logged-in user does not have the rights to connect to the SQL DB.

2.  Connection form Studio machine to SQL DB is not working.

Solution/Immediate Workaround

Please check with SQL DBA if the Studio user has rights to connect to SQL DB and check if Connection to SQL DB is working fine from the machine having Studio.
