I have a requirement to push the SAP data to SP list through a query script.
Challenge: There is already an option in which we can create a new list directly from query script which would create the list columns with the technical name of the fields (For eg; MARA-MATNR). This would be difficult for the customers to understand the technical names.
Expectation: I would want to give the descriptions of the column fields instead of technical names. For doing this i would first create a list with required number of columns and then would map the query script fields to the SP list columns. In this way i could give the descriptions of the fields instead of technical field names. This is not working fine in Studio. I could see the list which i created in the form site but i could not see the column names in Studio. I have attached a screen shot for your reference.
Reason Sharepoint was not getting update because the name of the SP List created in Foundation/Form site was not appearing same ;Follow below steps in order to rectify the issue.
1) Create List in the site
2) Click on List - Modify View
3) Now change the name from All Items to the name of the list.
4) Now columns will appear in Studio.
