Description

Error occurs when logging in to Studio add-in via Excel.

Applies To

Versions 11.X, 12.X

Cause

Software Center packages will often uninstall the old version to reinstall the new one. If upon reinstall the package finds DLL files, it renames rather than deleting them. See screenshot below for example.

Solution/Immediate Workaround

Uninstall Studio.
Remove Winshuttle folders from C:\Program files and C:\users\<username>\appdata.
Reinstall from Software Center.
