How to change the admin for user governance. The old admin left the company and nobody has an idea about user name and password. Are we able to access UG installations or is there a "master password" available?
See the below steps that user can perform in order to reset the password.
Are you aware of any other user accounts given on Winshuttle Administrator role ?You can check by performing below steps.
1) Login to Foundation Site - Settings-> Foundation Setup -> Winshuttle Administrator on Foundation site- It will show all the users with admin role.
If you have more than one user then one of the user in list can make all the Admin changes. Or add a new Admin if needed in the same list.
2) User can log in to UG site using share point server admin( System account - it will be the one that login on the sharepoint machine) and then change the Admin in the Foundation Set up Page.
This way they will be able to start using UG; also it will be advised to reinstall LMS with new Admin details if you decide to assign the New Admin.
3) or Best approach will be to get their IT team to reset password for the leaver user and then you can login using those details; this way you wouldn't have to reinstall LMS.
