Description

When trying to record a new script using FireFighter, Winshuttle is not able to recognize the active open session within SAP. Resulting in error message: There is No Open Session for Attaching by Virsa FireFighter.

Troubleshooting

1. Enabled checkbox "Allow multi threaded GUI scripting"

2. Enabled checkbox "Allow runs using Virsa Firefighter or GRC"

3. Recording using GUI scripting mode

Solution

Due to specific role restrictions on this customer's system, GUI scripting was not enabled for their personal SAP ID, only for their FireFighter ID. In order to get this to work, GUI scripting access also had to be provided on his personal SAP ID.
