Transaction shows the normal startup screen but does not seem to open. The icon for Transaction is in the taskbar, but when it's clicked, the software doesn't appear.
Users who undock their computer from a docking station or have removed a monitor from their setup recently.
This issue generally occurs because Transaction believes that it is opening up on a monitor which is no longer set up or connected to your computer.
In order to have the Transaction window appear again, please try the below two suggestions:
- Open Transaction and hold Shift + right click on the Transaction icon.
- Click Move and hold either Left arrow key or Right arrow key on your keyboard. This should cause Transaction to move to a monitor which you can see. If one direction doesn't work after about 10 seconds, try the other direction.
- Open Transaction and make sure that the icon on the taskbar is selected (the window is open on the screen which is not visible)
- Hold the windows key and press Left or Right until the screen becomes visible.
