Description
How to define content types for GOS doc attachments
Applies To
11x, 12x
Cause
As GOS loads attachments into content repositories specific to the file type, these need to be defined to ensure the document is correctly uploaded
Solution
For FB03 with 12.0+ WFM:
Step 1: Go to /WINSHTLQ/TRCTAB in SM30
Step 2: Select Maintain table
Step 3: Add the following values to the table for FB03
Step 4: Enable attachments in your FB03 script and select GOS
Step 5: You will now see SAEOBJART which you will populate with your doc type
For all other attachment Tcodes and anyone using an 11x WFM, only one content type can be configured these steps can be found below:
Step 1: Configure Global Document Type in OAC2 for Document Class using the file extensions that need to be supported.
Step 2: Configure “Links for Content Repositories” for Object Type BKPF using Document Types created in OAC2. The Content Repository ID and Link should be determined by the SAP team.
Step 3: Set Winshuttle Function Module values to support FB03 GOS in SM30 table /WINSHTLQ/DEFVAL
Example:
Click on New Entries
Transaction Code = FB03
Attachment Method = GOS
Object Type = BKPF
Key fields = BUKRS + BELNR + GJAHR
Content Repository = Content Repository determined in Step 2
Doc. Type = Document Type defined in Step 1.
Class type = leave blank
Step 4: Go to Winshuttle User Administration Controls Page using /n/winshtlq/admpanel to confirm that GOS is activated
Click on SAP Attachments
Make sure that Generic Object Services is checked as Active. If required, change the Winshuttle Default Document Option to GOS as well.
