Description

After recording a script with Long Text using Winshuttle Transaction, the field does not appear within the script.

Applies to 

All Non GUI Scripting recording modes in Winshuttle 10x.

Cause

In many cases, the long text boxes are not picked up in a typical recording because there is no SAP field information associated with them.

Solution

1. Select Non-Batch with Controls as your recording mode, which should allow you to pick up the long text that you enter in the recording.

 

2. Navigate to the long text box within SAP and input your text.



3. After you finish recording, go to the Mapper and click the Long Text button near the top right of the screen.



4. Map this field the same way you map any other SAP field.
