Solution

How the Extended log is activated is different in Studio 11 and Transaction 10.X. Also note, the Extended Log can be activated by Runner users in Transaction 10.X but not in Studio 11. See Winshuttle Runner user cannot select "Extended log" checkbox in Studio​

How to activate the Extended Log in Studio 11

In Studio 11 the Extended Log is activated in the mapper (Expert View).

Activate the Enable checkbox. The next available column will automatically be activated for the log in the Value column. This can be changed manually if required.

How to activate the Extended Log in Transaction 10.X

In Transaction 10.X the Extended log is activated in Advanced Run Options. In this case you will need to enter the column name.

Additional Information

Select this check box to see all the messages returned by SAP during the run of a transaction. These include warning messages and information messages. Uncheck this box to see only the last message returned by SAP.

Note, the Extended Log feature is not available for scripts that were recorded in Batch Input or GUI Scripting modes, either in Studio 11 or Transaction 10.X.
