Description

When installing  WinshuttleStudio as a silent install msi an error is received as per below:

Product: Winshuttle Studio - Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required to complete this could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Custom action InstallVCRedist script error -2147024894,: Line 6, Column 1.

Cause

The InstallVCRedist already exist on the current machine.

Solution

An extra parameter INSTALLVCREDIST="NO"  needs to be added to the end of the MSI silent installation command.
This is to skip the installation of InstallVCRedist files which are already present on the system.
