Winshuttle Studio Crashes While Connecting to SAP

Description

Studio crashes after entering SAP login details

Applies to

Studio 11
SAP GUI 740 / 750/760

Cause

This can be caused by an installation issue with the SAP GUI where some DLL files, including sapnwrfc.dll  and  librfc DLL's, are missing on the system. This prevents Winshuttle from being able to make a connection to SAP.

Solution

 

1. Check SAPGUI installation in sapgui -->options---> system information --> check sapgui installation as per the below screenshot.

In case of errors in the report. Fully uninstall and re-install the SAP GUI on the affected computer.
