Description

When trying to open Winshuttle Studio I get the error: Unable to cast object of type 'System.Object' to type 'Winshuttle.Core.ClientInterfaces.IScriptProccessorHelper'.

Solution

1. Go to control panel and uninstall Winshuttle current version.
2. Delete folder 'Winshuttle' from the path 'C:\Program Files' (or this might be Program files x86). Delete Winshuttle folders from %appdata%
3. Reboot the machine
4. Reinstall Studio 11

Additional Information

This error is due to some installer files from a previous Studio installation still remaining on the machine. Removing these files/folders helps promote a fresh install of the software.
