Description

If you have issues with recording or running a script in Studio 11, you may want to run an Authorization Check to see if this is caused by the absence of authorization objects.

Solution

To run this check in Studio 11, go to File Account and click on  Authorization Check.

The Authorization Check Results dialog box will appear with the SAP objects authorization.  If for any objects it states that 'User is not Authorized', please take a screen shot and refer the article below to your SAP Security team.

The authorization check has changed in Studio 11.3 (and 11.2.12),
Previously the check only covered the required authorization objects and not t-codes.  Now with the standard authorization check, it shows the authorization of JEM as well with t-codes. It is the desired behaviour that is added as a feature from 11.3 onward.
