Description

Error:Index and length must refer to the location within the string occurs when user is trying to open a script in Runner

Cause

This error will occur when you try to open the Studio 11 created scripts in Transaction 10x version.

Solution

Either of the below solutions should resolve this issue:

  1. Have the user who developed the script save the script as a lower version (Within Studio 11, click File Save and for Version, select 8.x - 10.x)
  2. Have the user who is currently running version 10.x of our product upgrade to Studio 11 and attempt to open the same script.​​
