Description

When you attempt to create a SharePoint list in Query or Studio and receive the error "Access Denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource.

Cause

The account creating the list must have SharePoint designer permissions or higher on the target site on which the list is created. By default, this will be the user running the script. However, in Winshuttle Central (v10) and User Governance (v11), if the system account or worker option is selected then that account will be used.

Solution

Ensure the account creating the list has the necessary SharePoint permissions on the target site.
