Excel Workflow does not sync properties after AutoRun

Description

When using an Excel Workflow with properties that need to be synced to SharePoint columns, the column values are not synced.

Excel Workflow, v11

Cause

Foundation requires that Excel files be allowed to sync. This setting is disabled by default.

Solution/Immediate Workaround

You must have the Central Site Administrator role to perform these steps.
  1. Go to the Foundation site in the browser.
  2. Click on Settings in the menu.
  3. Click on Preferences.
  4. Click on the Foundation tab.
  5. Check the Enable Property Promotion box.
  6. Click Save.
