Description

We get the following error when we select any non SSO SAP server from Winshuttle specific SAP logon pad
The SSO servers connections are successful

Cause

The xml file does not require any port in the SAP system properties but Winshuttle does require the port field to be filled in

Solution/Immediate Workaround

• Go to Folder C:\"UserName"\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common\SAPGUILandscape.xml
• Open file with Notepad and look for value server=" in the file; Copy the name/number of Port that needs to be added to the Studio.
• Add a system in Studio and fill in the port number
• Save as auto logon connection.

Additional Information

Prior to that the basic SAP Basis troubleshooting needs to be competed:
Is there any SAPRouter? If yes, add a router string with the application server host or message server host in the format /H/SapRouterstring/H/Host.
Is Winshuttle looking at the correct xml file? It will look at the default location if they are on 32bit, if on 64bit we might need to add the path to the xml file in Studio. If the xml if not in the default location, we will need to add it in Studio
