Best practices for connecting to Winshuttle Connect
Winshuttle Connect helps your company assign and manage licenses for Winshuttle products.
When interacting with Winshuttle Connect it’s important to understand how the application works and how to prevent situations where you cannot access the application to utilize your Winshuttle client (Studio or Runner) applications.
To better understand the scenarios that may cause Winshuttle Connect to go into Offline or Lease modes, please refer to this documentation.
To ensure your client application is always available and working please take care of the following:
- Be sure to authenticate and log into your Winshuttle client at least once during regular Winshuttle support hours from Sunday, 9pm PT to Friday, 5pm PT.
Doing this will ensure Winshuttle Support is around to help you in the event you encounter an issue.
- Be sure to configure your client to “Remember Credentials” after authenticating the first time.
