The task is not completed even though it has been approved by one of the participants in the group it was assigned to

Solution

Check the approval type in the Approval node properties. If the swim lane is set to TeamFromRole and the Approval type for the Approval node is Unanimous then all persons of that team must approve. If only one person in the team needs to approve, then change the Approval Type to SingleApproval or SingleDecision.
