Description

I am trying to create a new Winshuttle script and choose "New" under "Transaction". Then select "create from SAP recording" Winshuttle prompts me to log into SAP. I enter my SAP password and then click on the "Log on to SAP" Winshuttle shows me successfully logged into SAP. I then put in the Transaction Code, then click on the "Start Recording" button and I receive the following error:

Solution

Verify if this issue is happening with a single SAP system or multiple SAP systems. This error can occur when the SAP logon file (ini or XML) is missing a required entry. If this is missing, it will cause an error when trying to connect through Winshuttle. Please review the attached document with your SAP team to find out how to populate the path for the saplogon.ini or XML file.
