Description

User receives the following error when submitting a script to Winshuttle Central site.

Cause

Either due to the specified path exceeds 260 characters or the location of files from where they are being submitted using Studio product.

Solution

Make sure the specified path does not exceeds 260 characters and re-submit the file.

Make sure the directory of the files (data file and Script file) from where you are trying to submit to Central is located in desktop (or place the files with minimal sub-folders) on the machine.

Ultimately, the URL = protocol + server name + folder or file path + folder or file name+ parameters.

Example URL to browse a file w/o parameters = http://www.contoso.com/sites/marketing/documents/Shared%20Documents/Promotion/Some%20File.xlsx
