Dynamic Selections Not Working in AB08

Description

When attempting to record an AB08 script, the dynamic selections are not being selected when running (previously working in 10x Transaction)

Cause

The selection tree is not able to be interacted with through Batch/Non-batch (Standard) recordings. However, GUI scripting will require a change to the data settings.

Solution

GUI scripting will be the required recording mode.
Before running your script you will need to make some Data Setting changes:

1. Launch Studio
2. Go to File > Options > Data Settings
3. Uncheck "trim Leading Spaces " and "trim trailing spaces " under Data Read Preferences
4. Then Press OK
5. Run GUI AB08 script
