Description

When trying to assign a license in Connect you get the error: "Choose valid user."

Cause

• The user had not yet been added to the site, or
• The user is already assigned a license of this type, or
• The users email address is not being pasted in plain text

Solution

1. Under the Users tab in Connect, check that the username/email exists as a user and does not already have a license of the same type assigned.

2. Under the License Tab:

While assigning the license, click the Address Book icon
Search for the users email address, then double click on their name:
Click Assign
