Error message on deploying solution appears in the following format

'Error deploying solution: Please correct below errors and try again. Error occurred while publishing Winshuttle Transaction script.......Service already exists for CENTRAL site …. and SAP Server with System ID….  Please enter a non-existing Service Name'

Cause

When importing a solution to an environment where changes have been made to the scripts, the old web services will not be recognized and cannot be consumed. This deployment error will then appear even though the 'overwrite allowed' option has been selected.

Solution

Delete the old web services in Central then republish the scripts and deploy the new solution. Before doing so, ensure that there are no ongoing processes at the time of deletion.
