When attempting to run a Query, an error pops up with the below error:

Cause

This issue can occur if read and write privileges are not granted for the Data Dictionary folder.

To identify if this is the issue, open a folder in Windows and navigate to C:\Users\*Your Username*\AppData\Roaming\Winshuttle\Query\

Once within the above folder, right click the Data Dictionary folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab.  Determine whether you have Read and Write permissions in this folder.

Solution

If you have confirmed that you do not have both Read and Write permissions in the folder mentioned in the "Cause" section above, contact your IT department and request that they grant you those permissions.
