Description
The user is assigned Foundation license with the rights to Script Reviewer, Script Runner and Script Developer. However, the user is not able to run any scripts as the whole menu in Studio is greyed out. This doesn't work in Production environment but works fine in the Test system.
Applies to
Studio 11.2
Foundation 11.2
Cause
The user is assigned two licenses Standard and Studio Enterprise. Both licenses have the status "Maintenance Expired".
Solution
Both licenses were revoked and each of them was applied one at a time. The issue still persisted. New license in the status "Active" was assigned to the user and this resolved the issue.
Additional information
Several Winshuttle users can access Studio with the same licenses in status "Maintenance expired" without issues. However, this was address to Customer Success Manager and the renewal is currently in process.
Sometimes It works if user adds password Manually but not when selects option to Select Windows Credential.
Make sure customer has not got the Admin password in place and also try clearing cache and then try accessing Studio through Foundation.
Sometimes users save password to Foundation staging for admin . Deletion of the passwords in IE and Chrome wouldnt work because password to Foundation staging has been saved as Windows Credentials.
After deletion the password from Windows Credentials Studio will start working.
