Description

When trying to connect to my SAP system I am getting the error message: RFC_NO_AUTHORITY.

Studio 10.x, 11.x, 12.x, 20.x

Solution

Check with your SAP Basis Team to verify that authorizations for MRFC and SU_USER SAP Objects are allowed. If you are still receiving the same error, please request your SAP Basis Team to run a trace with ST01. This is the most accurate way for them to see what authorizations/Objects are missing.

Additional Information

MRFC is an SAP Function Group and it can be added in authorization object S_RFC.
