1. Please check the available Hard Disk Space in SQL Server machine, and check RAM usage when users are working. Please ensure free hard disk space is around 40% of the total space on the disk. If the RAM usage is about 70-80% all the time, then increase the RAM to make it under 50%. Please check the number of Cores in the processor. If the processor usage is high all the time, customer needs to upgrade their hardware infrastructure, i.e. increase the number of cores. This is because with such a usage of workflow server, hardware should be enough to handle the load.
2. There is Global Configuration Key named 'SQLCommandTimeout' whose value is 30 (in seconds) by default. Please Add/Update this key to make it's value as 120 (2 minutes), which might also help in this case. This key needs to be added in Winshuttle Workflow Administration site (by default on 54073 port). Please refer to Adding/Configuring new Winshuttle Workflow
3. Check if there is an archival process in place already? By performing archival processes, purge process data etc to free up space in Workflow Database and is strongly recommended.
