Description

We have noted that the task assignment e-mail subject line is duplicating the form name. We have checked across multiple form solutions and this occurs system wide. 

We have also checked with another company using Winshuttle and they are experiencing the same thing. 

Example of subject line: 

"Assignment: Departure Clearance - Departure Clearance - HR523-20180913-000-TEST FINAL EXTERNAL : HR Business Partner"

Solution

For the Subject line to work effectively; you would need to perform one of the below steps.

1) Add the Subject line in the Workflow( see attached screenshot)


2) Or Configure the EmailAssigmentSubject Key. ( Please see link below)

3)On Workflow there already is a EMailAssignmentSubject
If you go and select edit you get the following in the Value:
Assignment: [$ProcessDefinition.Name] - [$Process.Name] : [$Activity.Name]
 
Just remove the “[$ProcessDefinition.Name] –“ and it removes the duplicate in the subject.
