If you are having issues with Winshuttle Connect licenses their are a few steps below you can follow to
resolve your current issues.
Troubleshooting Steps
Make sure a Connect license has been assigned to you.
In order to access Winshuttle Software you must have been added to Connect and a valid license must be assigned to your User Profile.
Check if your Connect user profile has been completed
When your Winshuttle admin has assigned you a license in Connect you will receive an email from connect@winshuttle.com which contains a Registration Link.
When you open up the registration link you will be meet with your user profile which you must first complete before you are able to log into connect.
Check that you are using the correct license for your Winshuttle product.
For example, if you have a Runner license, make sure you are launching Runner for transaction instead of the transaction software.
If you are unsure, you can login to your Connect site and verify what license has been assigned to you on your home page.
Make sure you are connected to the Internet
Connect requires an active internet connection in order to authenticate the license.
Verify Proxy server settings
If your company uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet you need to make sure that your system has been configured with the correct details (user credentials, etc.).
Your IT department will be able to assist you with the details if required.
Please also ensure that your proxy and firewall allow the access to the following IP addresses below.
You can test this addresses below both of those corresponding web addresses need to be reachable.
- 40.81.13.96 - Port: 80, 443 - Connect.winshuttle.com
- 40.81.13.97 - Ports: 80, 443 - connectsvr.winshuttle.com
Are you able to create a Connect service?
In order to be able to access Connect you need to be able to create a Connect service.
You can test if you can create a Connect service by trying to access the link below
• https://connectsvr.winshuttle.com/v2/LicensingService.svc
If the service was created successfully you should see a message indicating that you have created a service successfully.
If the creation of the service failed their is an issue accessing your Winshuttle Connect website.
In this case please contact your IT team for them to verify connectivity.
If none of the above works, please create a support ticket.Also include details of the troubleshooting you have done to help us identify the issue.
