Description

While Studio is connecting to SAP you receive the below error message :

An attempt was made to load a file with the wrong format (exception of HRESUKT: 0x8007000B).

Applies to

Transaction 10.x & Studio 11.x

Solution

The error occurs if a unsupported SAP Basis version is being used.
SAP GUI 750 is not supported with Transaction 10.x this is due to the librfc32.dll no longer being included with in SAP GUI 750.

 To resolve the current issue:

Upgrade to the latest version of Studio

or

minimum version of studio required 11.4.x / 11.2.12. 

or

downgrade to SAP GUI 740.
