User receives an error while activating LMS license as "Error:DuplicateLicenseIDs"

Solution

Step 1. Go to LMS server where LMS is installed.

Step 2. Open command prompt and run as administrator.

Step 3. Type IISRESET

Step 4. Open Services.msc and search for Winshuttle LMS background service

Step 5. Restart Winshuttle LMS background service.

Step 6. Now go back to foundation site and paste Licensing URL if it is showing blank else if Licensing URL is already there then click on Next button.

Step 7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Skip button

Step 8. Click on Next Button and then click on Setup Foundation.
