How do you add additional fields or screens to an existing script?

Applies to

Transaction 10x, Studio 11x, Studio 12x., Studio v.20x

Cause

All screens or fields were not captured in the initial recording

Solution 1

10x => From the expert view in the mapper, select Filters in the upper right hand corner, unhide disabled fields.  Enable any needed fields or screens that were not enabled in the original recording.

11x, 12x and 20x => From the view tab enable disabled fields, switch to the Map tab and enable any needed fields or screens that were not enabled in the original recording.

Please Note: With Studio 11x, 12x, if the field you want to add is missing the Type & Length, an error will occur, in that case, you will need to click on 'synchronize' to have it appear

Solution 2

10x, 11x, 12x => Create a new script recording, capturing the fields and screens you'd like to add.  Copy and paste those fields and screens from your new recording into your existing script.
