Description

While upgrading  and changing the SAP BASIS version, an error occurred due to the current Winshuttle Function Module requesting a vendor key required to remove or keep it.

Cause

There is no uninstall ability for the Winshuttle Function Module 10.7.

Solution

1. Stop the actual SUM run
2. Upgrade the Winshuttle from version 10.7 to 11.1 for the same SAP Basis version as the original (this should enable the “Deinstallable components” tab as describe in document for “Server Side Uninstallation”)
3. Uninstall the Winshuttle add-on
4. Proceed with SAP system upgrade using SUM (restart the upgrade)
5. After the upgrade is finished, install the Winshuttle Function Module for the new SAP BASIS version.
