Adding Manager as Approver

Description

We are trying to add Manager approval step for our solutions in Composer. We are not able to retrieve Requestor Manager.

Check that the User Profile Service is enabled in SharePoint.

When the User Profile Service is enabled, a Query Element can be configured to use the User Profile Service. More information about this can be found here: http://winshuttle-help.s3.amazonaws.com/foundation/en/composer/winshuttle-composer-query.htm#Configur

If the User Profile Service can not be enabled, one possible workaround would be to populate a drop-down list with the manager names to allow the users to select the manager assignment.
