Will my old scripts from version 10.x work with Studio 11?

• Scripts from 10.x versions of our software should work in Studio 11, but some functionality has changed between the two versions so some scripts may need to be re-recorded using Studio 11.

Can I use my 10.x version of Winshuttle products alongside Studio 11?

• Yes!  In order to provide a smooth transition between 10.x and Studio 11, our software will work side-by-side.  It should be noted, though, that our Excel add-in will only work for one of these at a time, so either the 10.x or 11 add-in will need to be disabled.

Does Studio 11 work with the 10.x Function module or is it a requirement to upgrade the function module as well?

Studio 11 is supported for Winshuttle Function Module 10.6 or above, however the client and FM will need to be on the same level to get full benefit of a release.

Are there any changes that will need to be made regarding licensing for Studio 11 to work?

• Studio 11 will work with current in-maintenance licensing for the following products: Transaction, Query, Direct, Runner for Transaction, and Runner for Query.  No changes to licensing are required -- Studio 11 will simply allow access to the modules which users are licensed for.
