Description
When attempting to open a forms site or launch a form you get one of the below codes:1326
1909
Applies To
Winshuttle WorkflowCause
Winshuttle Workflow uses up to two separate accounts to manage resources and access. If one of these accounts has an issue, it will manifest as an error when trying to access the site or a form.1326 - Invalid Credentials
This will occur when either the SharePoint Impersonation or Database Impersonation accounts have an invalid password. This often happens if the password is reset.1909 - Account Lockout
This will occur when either the SharePoint Impersonation or Database Impersonation accounts have been locked out due to too many authentication attempts. This does not not necessarily have to be attempts by a user, it can be a component of the software attempting to start such as the svservice scheduled task.Solution/Immediate Workaround
Steps will vary based on the error.1326
The steps required to fix this will differ, depending on which account is affected. If it is just the SharePoint Impersonation (also known as the Workflow Administrator) account, then you can easily change the password through Workflow Central Administration's Configure Options page and Farm Administration pages. If the Database Impersonation account is affected, you will need to use SQL directly to update the Database Impersonation values, then use Workflow Central Administration for the SharePoint Impersonation account.1909
First, attempt to identify the culprit for the lock out. This might be the application pool for Workflow Central Administration or the svservice scheduled task or even a user attempting to login to the server with one of those accounts.Ensure the component is disabled or that the lockout will not repeat.
Contact your internal IT support to unlock the account in Active Directory.
