Description

Set of rules on a form field are not working. Enabled the check box 'HALT EXECUTION IN DEBUGGER BEFORE RUNNING THE RULE'. But the execution is not halted.

Cause

If a set of rules is written on a field, then there may be syntax error(s) in any rule(s) of the same field which will lead to this behaviour.

Solution

Please check for syntax of all the rules related to the same field. We found a rule in which condition value is enclosed within a single quote and double quote (like 'ZHIB"). This should be corrected. (like "ZHIB")

Identifying the syntax errors can be done fast with the help of debugging (F12).
