Error: Specified file already contains some published TRANSACTION scripts

Description

On trying to publish an Excel file associated with a script to Central, the following error message appears:

Cause

You can only publish files to Central which do not contain previously embedded scripts.

Solution

  1. Open the Excel file you are trying to publish
  2. Click on the first unused sheet in the Excel file
  3. Right-click on the tab
  4. Select 'Unhide'
  5. Delete the existing embedded scripts
