Description

When I try to use Winshuttle to logon to SAP I get an error that just says "Entry ' "

Solution

Please check to see if there are any environment variables present related to the saplogon.ini. You will want to go to your start menu, right click computer, manage, advanced system settings, environment variables, then scroll through the system variables. If you select the variable and hit Edit you will be able to capture the details of the variable.



Check if you are able to delete the environment variable that is related to the SAP Logon.ini? We sometimes see that the environment variables for the SAPLogon.ini conflict with the software. If you remove the variable, the error message should be resolved.

For 64-bit Wishuttle version, customers  need to maintain the path of saplogon.ini in Winshuttle client under SAP settings or SAP defaults

Additional Information

In some instances we have seen cases where the Environment Variables recreate the file once the PC is restarted and the issue returns.  Your Internal IT Teams should be able to investigate the cause of this.
