Description

When attempting to browse a Winshuttle User Governance (Foundation) site, the top of the page loads but the center displays the following error:

"You are not authorized to view this content."

Cause

To view a User Governance site, a user must have both SharePoint standard permissions plus additional Winshuttle specific roles. The standard permissions are granted through the site's Visitors and Member's groups while the roles are granted by a user with the Winshuttle Site Administrator role through the Manage Users or Add Users menu.

Solution

Ask a Winshuttle Site Administrator to grant you the appropriate roles and SharePoint memberships.
