Description

While logging into SAP through Winshuttle, the user gets the following error message:

Applies to

Transaction, Query, Runner 10.7.3 and Lower
Journal Entry 9.5 and Lower

Cause

This error is referencing installer files that may not exist or may not exist in the correct location. The bit version of Winshuttle is designed to match your Microsoft Excel bit version (as apposed to your OS bit version). You will want to verify what bit version you have installed of Winshuttle and Microsoft Excel to ensure that they match.

Solution

To verify your bit versions:
1. Winshuttle - Open the application and navigate to Help > About


2. Microsoft Excel - please review the steps in this article: 
 How to check whether you have a 32 bit or 64 bit version of Microsoft Excel 

To resolve the error, you will want to uninstall your incorrect bit version of Winshuttle and install the correct corresponding bit version of Winshuttle that matches your Excel bit version.

Example: You have 32 bit Excel 2013, and 64 bit Winshuttle. Uninstall 64 bit Winshuttle and reinstall 32 bit Winshuttle.
