Execution of non-batch script results in error "GUI_TYPE_NOT_SUPPORTED"

Solution

Execute the script using the Debug option.
If executed successfully, execute the script using the Run option "Run and Stop on Errors".
If executed successfully, enable 'Start SAP GUI' box and execute normally.
